Interesting Money Saving Idea

This is a neat little product called the “Air Pear.”  It uses a prinicpal called stratification to distribute even heat.  It can sure get cold in the metro area and I’m guessing that you may have some ceiling mounted heaters.  Somehting I learned in school was that heat rises….so if your heat starts out at the top of the building – where do you think most of it stays?  Right.  So this little unit take the heat and pushes it down to the floor causing a uniform temperature in your building.  Check out some videos here -> Videos

These little units are really cost effective, have a low current draw, and can help you put that good used money (read – bought heat) down where you really wanted it in the first place.

Hygienic Design Enclosures from Rittal – in stock at CED in Omaha

Rittal’s new Hygienic Design (HD) enclosures provide the ultimate solution where cleanliness and sanitation are paramount. Crafted of stainless steel, they feature a smooth surface grain, internal hinges, washable gaskets, locks and no crevices to trap debris or contaminates.

The new HD enclosures are available with screw covers for smaller, integrated applications or hinged doors for larger installations. Both are created from ANSI 304 stainless steel with a 400 grain brushed surface. Wall and door surfaces are angled to prevent objects from adhering to them so water runs off easily.

rittal mobile design center round 2…ding ding!

Another great counter day with the Rittal Mobile Design Center today.  Over 100 people came out to see the MDC as well as Rockwell Automation’s Low Voltage Motor Control Center van featuring Secure Connect and Intellicenter.  If you were able to come out today…thanks!  If not, and you are interested in talking about either of these manufacturers…give us a call…we’d be happy to talk to you about it!

Surge and filters and reactors…oh my!!!

Well it’s not quite the same as Lions and Tigers and Bears..but bad…dirty…or no power can sure be a bad thing (we can do UPS’s as well).  CED Omaha stocks products that help calm your fears about power problems. We have several vendor partners that can assist with products to eliminate or help you get through some nasty situations.  One of those vendors is Sola-Hevi-Duty.  Click on the below to check out a really good brochure on their offering.
